If you’re into plants, tattoos, and “a garage that’s half greenhouse, half chaos lab” you’ll want to check out anthurium_arthur on Instagram. There’s a lot to take in so grab a cup of tea and take some time to absorb a few posts. For example, one intriguing photo has him crouching beneath a mammoth monstera with the caption: machines count | plants witness. Visit the page for some all too brief accompanying poetry.
Another of his innovative plant posts caught our attention as well. An enormous Anthurium nervatum leaf is negating Arthur’s noggin—and that’s the small leaf. This is one of the plants he grows in his Garage Tropics, an oasis that, until Arthur made it happen, only lived in the wildest imaginations of truly dedicated plant lovers. BTW—he could have covered his whole torso with the big leaf.
