Fleas
The flea (order Siphonaptera) is a small, wingless insect known for its exceptional jumping ability and role as a persistent external parasite. Often visible to the naked eye, their small size and agility make them difficult to detect. The flea life cycle includes four stages—egg, larva, pupa, and adult. Eggs are laid on the host but often fall into the environment, where larvae hatch and feed on organic debris. After pupating in cocoons, adult fleas emerge.
