Greenhouse Growing
The optimal vegetables to grow in a greenhouse are high value crops sold fresh rather than processed or canned. Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and hydroponic lettuce can flourish in a well maintained facility, giving you production year-round in areas where outdoor growing might only be possible a few months out of the year.

Introducing bumblebees into your crop is essential when growing in a greenhouse, as there are no natural pollinators readily available. Because bumblebees are highly sensitive to most chemical pesticides, biological pest control is your strongest defense to keep plants in peak condition.
With a long growing cycle and an ideal climate, indoor crops are highly susceptible to diseases and pests which can be detrimental to your operation. Preventative pest control is most important when caring for you greenhouse vegetables because once a pest enters and begins reproducing it can be nearly impossible to bring that population under control.
